Dedicated to raising awareness and funds for pancreatic cancer, Road2ACure launches it’s national awareness campaign with a 50 state motorcycle and documentary tour. Fed up with sitting around and waiting for a cure to materialize on a cancer with *the highest mortality rate of all leading cancers, 5 year pancreatic cancer survivor and Road2ACure co-founder, Chris Calaprice along with his wife and caregiver Jennifer, Road2ACure President are accelerating change and making history while doing it.
Understanding that the key to finding a cure is bringing pancreatic cancer to the forefront of public discussion, since that is what will lead to more funding and more research, Chris and Jennifer will travel over 20,000 miles making noise to drum up support, national media attention, annual events in every state, and incite people to take action. They will carry a message of hope to pancreatic cancer survivors, caregivers, volunteers, grassroots activists, policy makers, oncologists, medical centers and local and federal legislators to show what it is like to live life with pancreatic cancer. The tour in all of its realities will be captured on camera by a film crew, and footage will be broadcast here on the web site and ultimately turned into a documentary that can continue broadcasting the Road2ACure mission…
A cure is possible. Road2ACure knows where the journey begins. Get ready for the ride of a lifetime. + read more
