A 50 State Awareness Tour for Pancreatic Cancer

Chris Calaprice, a five year pancreatic and melanoma cancer survivor, starting at the beginning of the 2010 riding season will embark on a 50 state pancreatic cancer awareness motorcycle tour . Along the way, Road 2 A Cure will help start and organize other rides and rallies throughout the country modeled after the Road2ACure-The California Ride this October 12th 2008.

At the same time, Road 2 A Curewill be visiting pancreatic cancer survivors, caregivers, volunteers, grassroots activists, policy makers, oncologists, medical centers and local and federal legislators. All of this is being done to drive home the necessity for progress in early detection, treatment and finally a cure.

Chris, who has been receiving chemotherapy since his cancer diagnosis in 2003, will continue his treatment while on the tour that spans over 20,000 miles
